Let me begin by saying that if you are looking for the kind of swivel chair that you sink down into then you should look elsewhere as these accent chairs are quite firm except for the pillow which provides comfortable back support. while the attached seat cushion provides excellent support, the foam was much firmer than I expected and I have remedied the situation by ordering a pair of round 18-inch seat cushions from the same supplier. As for the fabric which I ordered in beige, it has a suede-like texture and fits snuggly to the moulded foam and steel inner frame. The upholstery ribbing is well-stitched along all the chair's contours. Overall construction appears well done and well-finished. The swivel mechanism appears to be quite sturdy and without any squeaking or wobbling. Overall, I rate these chairs as four-stars and not as five simply because I found the seat portion too be a bit too firm for my taste, requiring the purchase of the extra cushions I referred to previously. Nevertheless, I like these chairs very much and they make an attractive addition to our living room.
