It is a great looking sofa bed but the noxious odor of off-gassing was horrible. We had all the windows open with two large high power fans blowing on it for three weeks or more, dryer sheets, pans of baking soda, etc. Headaches, eyes burning, nose bleeds, raw throats and the odor and the symptoms did not get better. Obviously we returned this sofa bed but who knows how much damage was done to our health.

Only problem during construction is the instructions have incorrect numbers for parts on a few of the initial drawings- part numbers for screws and washers are labelled wrong on the drawings, and it took awhile to figure out the correct parts they were indicating, a screw and washer, not 2 screws! However, once assembled, they look great and feel sturdy.

Think of a $15 pressed wood book shelf from a big box retailer and that is about the quality you are getting with this stool. I didn't expect a lot at the price point of this item, but I have been pretty disappointed.

Rush Seat Counter Stool - White (24") Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered 2 of these stools for our new home. They arrived in about a week. Both stools had damaged pieces, either cracks in the wood or uneven painting (where dark showed through under the white). I called csn stores and the rep told me that because of the number of damaged pieces (about 8), it was easier for him to send me 2 new complete stools. He said he would request expedited shipping. After waiting another week, the second set of stools arrived. While these weren't completely defect-free either, I was able to construct 2 complete stools from the four stools shipped. One of the stools wobbles as well, so I had to put a foam protector under one of the feet to stablize the stool.
The style is very nice, and I think if they took a bit of extra care in the manufacturing of these that they would have an excellent product. But in putting them together, while the instructions are easy, the actual assembling was not. The screws that take a spring washer and flat washer did not always screw into the wood. The grooves in the hole to take the screw had paint or something in them so the screw would not go in. I had to leave off the flat washer to make them grip the wood.
I decided to keep the stools because I like the look, but I don't think they are worth the price I paid. I think half that price would be more fair.
I have to say I'm disappointed. I was so excited to order these, only to be let down by shoddy manufacturing. :-(

(More customer reviews)Updated 8/18/09 -- should be TWO STARS: I purchased this Set of 2 Chrome Metal SWIVEL BAR STOOLS barstools - Black seat and a Bar Table in 50's Retro Nostalgic Soda Fountain Style with Chrome Plating and Black Formica Table Top for a covered balcony. There is a sad lack of reasonably priced and attractive pub-height balcony furniture on the market, and this seemed to be a good option.
DIY assembly was relatively straightforward and quick. Only a screwdriver is needed, as allen keys are provided for the main attachment screws. The completed chairs are quite sturdy and comfortable. The swivel feature is a welcome and functional addition.
Together with the table, they are a pretty good looking and functional balcony or pub-height small dining set for two.
Inspection of the components of the chairs reveals that the quality of the manufactured pieces is mid-level to poor, with ugly welds, inconsistent appearance of the tubing (rough marks, etc.) and gaping uneven clearances between the back supports and chair seat tube base.
Unfortunately, I can't reduce the number of stars given in my initial review. If I could I'd drop these to a TWO-STAR product. Here's why.
After only a few days on the balcony the cheap steel and chrome plating is rusting and spotting. Yes, I realize that these chairs were not manufactured for outdoor use. However, if they rust quickly outdoors they will also rust indoors -- even if they do so slower. I would recommend that, if you are expect these chairs to look reasonably good for any length of time, you spray it with a clear sealer and/or rust-proofer before exposing it to the environment. I will do the same after giving them a quick polish. I'm sure I'll end up painting them in the not too-distant future.
Bottom line: Inexpensive bar stools of barely adequate quality.

Little Tikes Adjust N Draw Table Review

(More customer reviews)This table is great. The assembly was pretty easy. It does require you to drill the nails into the plastic which was a little strange but not hard to do. The table can adjust to have an angle for kids to draw more easily but so far I have never put it on that setting for him (he's a little over 2 years old) because it's not as easy as they make it seem. And when my son wants to draw, there's just no time to mess with the setting. One more thing I want to mention is that we have the table on wood floor, and the bottom is slippery on the wood floor so it slides all over the place. So I had to put some non-skid padding on the feet to make the table stay in place.

(More customer reviews)After searching the net for months I happened upon these counter stools. Have always had wood counter stools so was somewhat unsure of the comfort of a metal-backed chair. I kept coming back to these, so I ordered three (3). The BEST PRICE ANYWHERE was on Amazon. They arrived in two (2) different shipments. And yes, just as another reviewer said, there are a lot of pieces. But what would you expect? I mean, just looking at the chair you can tell this is not going to be your run of the mill assembly.
My sister put it together with some input from me. The directions don't really state this, but there is only one way to place the legs, otherwise you'll run into a problem attaching the footrest.
We did run into a big problem which, at first, was disheartening as we did not have the time to wait for an exchange. The posts on the back of only one (1) of the chairs was actually welded in crooked. It made connection impossible. My brother-in-law came over, placed a towel over the wrought iron and took a hammer to it. This action saved the day! He was able to bend the post back enough to get it into the seat and pounded the dang thing all the way in. It worked. The chair will NEVER come apart, looks perfect and there was absolutely NO damage. I was amazed. Obviously, this is a VERY STURDY piece of furniture.
Without fail EVERYONE who sees and sits on these stools LOVES them, as do I. If you want something nice, very sturdy, beautiful and complimentary to a kitchen these are the stools to buy and Amazon is the place to get them.
